AL Azhagappan reveals the reason for the divorce of AL Vijay and Amala Paul!

One power couple, AL Vijay and Amala Paul divorced after years of marriage. This certainly shocked the fans and industry. Now, AL Vijay’s father and noted producer AL Azhagappan has named Dhanush as the reason behind their divorce.

The producer, in a recent interview to a Tamil channel, revealed that it was Amala Paul who decided to stay away from films after marriage. However, Dhanush offered her the lead role in his production venture, Amma Kanakku and the actress agreed to star in it.

AL Azhagappan cited this as a reason behind AL Vijay and Amala Paul’s divorce. The producer’s shocking statement has caused a stir in the industry.
Back in 2017, filmmaker AL Vijay stated that he and his family never stood in between Amala Paul and her career. In his statement, he said, “When Amala wanted to continue her career in films, I supported her. I was never a hindrance. The accusations that I or my family were stopping her from work are completely untrue. The base for any marital relationship is honesty and trust when that is breached the existence of committed relationship becomes pointless. I really value the institution of marriage and relationship a lot.”

Now, AL Vijay got married to Aishwarya in July 2019 in a grand wedding.
