Andre Russell wants to retire in KKR jersey

Speaking in an official show by the KKR franchise, the West Indian all-rounder Andre Russell said that if and when he retires he would like to do it in KKR jersey and a farewell match at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata will give goosebumps.

Russell has been a significant part of the KKR squad in the last few years. With the COVID-19 pandemic putting an halt to IPL, the all-rounder is currently in his hometown Jamaica.

“Let me confess something. IPL is where I get the most goosebumps. I get that in CPL as well but when it comes to playing in the IPL, especially in the Eden Gardens, there is no comparison,” he said in the ‘Knights unplugged’ show.
