Bangladesh announces squad; Rumana Ahmed makes a comeback

The veteran all-rounder Rumana Ahmed is back to the T20I squad of Bangladesh. She was suffering from a knee injury and has recovered at the right time for the team.

Rumana has been around for a long time now and she played an important role in Bangladesh’s famous Asia cup victory.

Bangladesh have been grouped with India, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand. They will start their campaign against India on February 24.

Squad: Salma Khatun (captain), Rumana Ahmed (vice-captain), Jahanara Alam, Shamima Sultana, Murshida Khatun Happy, Ayesha Rahman, Nigar Sultana Joty, Sanjida Islam, Khadija-Tul-Kubra, Panna Ghosh, Fargana Haque Pinki, Nahida Akhter, Fahima Khatun, Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostary.
