Breaking: KKR vs RCB set to be postponed after multiple COVID19 cases

According to reports in The Age, several personnel from the KKR camp are unwell after testing positive. The sources confirmed to The Age that cricketers including Australia’s Pat Cummins is isolating after several players had tested positive for Covid-19 and the upcoming match on Monday will be postponed.

Despite being played behind closed doors with team staying in bio secure bubble, cases has been reported.

BCCI office has communicated to Gujarat Cricket Association about the development and the organizers had told that the game will be rescheduled. The new date will be announced soon.

According to sources, Pat Cummins is in isolation after Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier had tested positive. Speaking to ANI, a BCCI official told that RCB aren’t keep to conduct a match at the moment because of the cases in the KKR camp.

It is also reported that several players are reporting ill ahead of the match.

Official announcement awaited.
