It is a well known fact that Harbhajan Singh and Losliya are making their debut as lead in the upcoming movie Friendship.
The movie is directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya. According to John, the movie, the first schedule of which was completed before the lockdown, will have the cricketer-turned-actor playing a student. The remaining portions, which were supposed to be shot in April, will be shot in Coimbatore once normalcy returns.
He informs, “Harbhajan essays the role of a mechanical engineering student hailing from Punjab who comes to a college in Coimbatore for his studies. His character is that of someone who had discontinued studies for a few years after completing school.”
He also added that Losliya will have equal screen space. Actor Arjun also plays an important role in the movie.
“The story, which revolves around a group of friends, has elements of sports, politics and a social cause,” says John.
