As India is gearing up to host South Africa at Vishakapatnam, there are a lot of questions raised regarding the playing XI for the hosts.
In the pre-match press conference, the Indian team captain Virat Kohli has confirmed that Saha will keep wickets.
“Wriddhiman Saha will keep for us in this Test series,” said Kohli.
Saha’s superior glove work is one of the reasons why he might have been preferred ahead of the youngster Pant. Also, considering Pant’s form in recent matches, India would have gone for Saha.
Another major talking point of the series is the batting position of Rohit Sharma. Virat Kohli says that he wants to give Rohit his space.
“We are in no hurry with Rohit Sharma as an opener,” Kohli said. “He will be given time and space to find his rhythm and the way he wants to play at the top.”
