Mumbai Indians extended their great run in the tournament with yet another victory as they went past Delhi Capitals with ease by nine wickets.
Delhi Capitals struggled right from ball one after being asked to bat first by Kieron Pollard in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah ran through the batting order of Delhi Capitals. Both the pacers took three wickets each as Delhi managed to score just 110 runs from their 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer top-scored with 25 for the team.
In return, Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan batted as if they were playing on a different surface. They played some clean strokes, even Kagiso Rabada had no clue. After De Kock’s dismissal, Kishan shifted gears and single-handedly took the team home. He had 72* from 47 deliveries with 8 fours and 3 sixes.
