Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed Wanindu Hasaranga as a replacement to Adam Zampa.
The latter is unavailable for the rest of IPL 2021.
Hasaranga will replace him for the remainder season.
Hasaranga is having an excellent year so far. He did well in the Lanka Premier League and then went on to dominate in the India series.
Hasaranga wss the player of the match in the T20I series decider, a match that gave Sri Lanka their first ever bilateral T20I series win against India men’s team.
Finn Allen is also out of the tournament and is likely to be replaced by Singapore ‘s Tim David. Official announcement is yet to come for this replacement.
