Amid lockdown, a lot of daily workers are finding it difficult to find food because of no work and also they are stranded. Many of them even tried walking to their native and the heartbreaking scenes surfaced on social media.
Talking the right initiative, Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan has launched a programme called “Naame Theervu” which roughly translates to We Are The Solution.
As the name suggests, Kamal Haasan is currently calling out people to volunteer and is all set to form an army of volunteers to help the people during this tough time.
He announced the launch today through Zoom Call with the media.
