NZ vs ENG, 3rd T20I- England take the series 3-0

It was yet another good day in the office for England as they had managed to grab yet another victory against New Zealand to end the series 3-0.

England batted first, Nat Sciver captained the team for the first time in the absence of Heather Knight. The latter had picked up an injury and had to sit out.

New Zealand began well by removing the top order. Dunkley and Jones then steadied the innings a bit while Fran Wilson had 31* runs from 23 deliveries to take the team to 128 in their 20 overs.

The skipper Devine had three wickets to her name but unfortunately, she got out for a duck in return. Brunt was too good once again to remove Jensen in the next over.

Satterthwaite along with Kerr added a tiny partnership just like they did in almost all the matches in the series. However, this time Glenn and Ecclestone removed them and wickets continued to fall as New Zealand found themselves at 63 for 9.

In the end, Mair and Green added a few runs to the total but it wasn’t enough as the team went down for 32 runs.
