Actor Ponnambalam needs no introduction. The actor is known for many films including Nattamai, Muthu where he played the role of antagonist. The actor was one of the participants in the second season of Bigg Boss show.
Now, it is reported that the actor is hospitalized after some kidney-related problem.
Actor-Politician Kamal Haasan came to know about the condition of Ponnambalam and made sure to help him financially. Kamal Haasan reportedly is enquiring the condition of Ponnambalam daily through his team and he also promised that he would take care of the educational expenses of Ponnambalam’s two kids.
The 56-year-old actor started out in films as a stuntman and then started acting in minor roles in films. A couple of such roles, in the films of Kamal Haasan, like Apoorva Sagodharargal and Michael Madana Kama Rajan, got him noticed. It was Nattamai that gained him all the popularity.
The actor was last seen alongside Jayam Ravi in Comaali.
