He now has 27 hundreds, equals Hasim Amla’s tally and moves to 5th spot.
India also became the first team to have four century opening stand in a single World Cup edition, The Indian openers have also crossed 1000 runs in a single edition and this is just the third instance.
He now has the most 50+ scores for India after Sachin Tendulkar, 6.
He now has the second most 100+ partnership in World Cup for India, 7.
He becomes only the second player from India to score 600 runs in a single edition of World Cup.
