Road Safety T20 series: Sehwag, Sachin takes India home!

The nostalgia written all over the series and the first match was absolute cracker.

Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and opted to field first in the first match of the series.

West Indies legends had a great start, thanks to Ganga’s 32 and Chanderpaul’s 61. Indian bowlers ran through the middle order and reduced the team to 150 in their 20 overs. Munaf Patel was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 24 to his name.

In return, India had Sehwag and Tendulkar doing what they are best at, complimented each other well. Tendulkar was dropped once but he made sure to entertain the crowd with seven boundaries. On the other hand, Sehwag played the anchor role well, stood unbeaten on 74.

Hooper picked up two wickets in two consecutive deliveries and that allowed Yuvraj Singh to come in and score an unbeaten 10 runs. The best part was the six over the bowler’s head which was super elegant.

Australia will take on Sri Lanka on Sunday.
