On Wednesday, West Indies took on Sri Lanka and the match was absolute cracker with both the teams producing fireworks.
The match also marked the 500th T20 match of West Indies captain Kieron Pollard.
Batting first, West Indies batted well to score 196 in their 20 overs. Lendl Simmons stood unbeaten on 67 whereas, Pollard’s 15 balls 34 and Russell’s 12-ball 35 changed the course of the game.
Russell was stopped by the perfect yorker from Lasith Malinga’s perfect yorker.

In return, Kusal Perera was left stranded at one end, blame Oshane Tomas who grabbed five wickets. Sri Lanka managed only 171, losing the match by 25 runs.
