With this complete lockdown, the daily workers are the ones who are affected majorly and the film fraternity has come forward to help the FEFSI workers.
The latest to join the list is Nayanthara who has donated Rs 20 Lakhs.
FEFSI recently requested everyone who is in the position to donate to come forward and help them.
So far, Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Rajinikanth, Sivakumar, Suriya, Karthi, Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathi and many more actors have donated to the workers.
Film shoots in Tamil film industry have been halted till April 14 due to coronavirus lockdown. The FEFSI members might continue with the halt, depending on the situation.
