Chennai: Shops to be opened till 3 PM today

Since Chennai will be facing a complete lockdown from April 26th to April 29th, people began to gather in huge numbers, dismissing social distancing, before the shops, to buy essentials.

Due to the panic buying, the Government now has announced that the shops will be opened till 3 PM (initially it was 1 PM) today and asked people “not to panic”.
