ENG v WI, 4th T20I- Amy Jones smashes 50 as England goes 4-0

England are proving just too good for the former champions West Indies who are struggling to get going in the series. The issues are almost the same in every single match and all the matches are pretty one-sided.

England once again batted first and this time, West Indies had a few changes to the line-up. For England, finally, they found a spot for Dunkley in the playing XI. However, she didn’t disturb the scoring as she got out for the first ball while batting at the middle-order. Beaumont played well for her 27. To tell you how planned West Indies were, here is the thing. Beaumont is too good when it comes to the short delivery. We know it. They should have known it. At least after watching her taking on the bowlers. But no. West Indies continued with the same plan until Beaumont got out. Well, they weren’t all bad, they managed to dismiss Wyatt for a duck which doesn’t happen every day. Alleyne then was turning it on for the team with picking up yet another wicket, dismissing Sciver shortly after Wyatt’s dismissal.

Unfortunately for them, Englan have too many good batters to bounce back literally from any situation. Knight and Jones brought the team back. Knight had 42 but the star of the match was Jones who smashed a brilliant fifty. It’s been a while though. A cameo from Brunt took England to 166 for 6 in their 20 overs.

In return, West Indies lost their in-form batter Dottin early. A few players then got starts but couldn’t convert them to a big score, falling 44 runs short of the total. England had Glenn and Brunt picking up two wickets for them.
