Deepavali celebration sparks light in the Bigg Boss house. Kamal Hassan, the host, begins the festival day by wishing the viewers and reminding them about their part in reducing air pollution. We peek into the Friday happenings of the house on Day 41.
Samyuktha gives her insight to Aajeedh the soon-to-be captain of the house. She says he has to act according to what he thinks right not based on anyone’s opinion, she included herself too. Archana expresses her thoughts to Gaby that if Bala thinks her love is fake which isn’t her problem as she behaves in her best version to be true to herself. Shivani and Samyuktha discuss about where they stand among all the 16 contestants. They analyse how Nisha and Rio have got their own talents and they wish to find their own place as well as the competition gets tighter. Sam and Aari discuss how Anitha is over sensitive and smartly escapes from getting caught. They all get their Deepavali gifts they won from the Wheel of Fortune game.
Day 42 begins and contestants meet Kamal. The host indulges in the week happenings, says, so far, this is the most peaceful, less-fight week in this season. He talked about each of their letter writings and connected with his personal anecdotes which involves his father. He advises them to cherish these letters and moments. He says it’s as much as essential to write letters to the Army fighters as we do for our closed ones. Archana feels the need too as her father-in-law and her husband serve for the country.
Kamal introduces a veteran in Postal service, Sivan, who delivered the letters and Money orders for years to the people in hill stations, passing wild forests. Sivan shares his experiences in a humble way.
Kamal asks the contestants to choose various firecrackers in front of them and assign to one of the housemates whose characters coincides with the crackers’ properties which ends in a fun way.
Kamal talks about the rift between Anitha and Rio. He advises Anitha as he observed that she is quick to tears and anger in a snap. It showcases her ability to fumble while keeping her best version of herself. She often fails to be. Anitha still tries to have a clean slate even when it means she chooses to embrace her own fault. Her maturity hasn’t seen the light yet which is often overshadowed by her sharp words.
The contestants prepare a set of performances for the festivities. Nisha gives a crackling stand up performance. Suchi and Aajeedh performs a self-composed song with music help from Rio and Som. Gaby gives a stunning, funny dance impressions of other housemates and shares the credit with Ramesh. Archana and Rio enact various moments in the house that touch upon them in a weird way which mostly involved imitating Suchi.
Kamal also jumps into this performance bandwagon. The veteran actor enacts various important, most remembered lines from his movies based on the choice of each contestants. The festival episode of Bigg Boss ends with the contestants getting new clothes for their big day. As said before, there is no evicton this week as the house is in celebration mood this week.
