IPL 2020, SRH vs DC- SRH win by 15 runs

After two consecutive loses, SRH are back on track as they went on to defend 163 against DC.

SRH had a great start with Warner finding his touch after a long time. He scored 45 from 33 deliveries. After losing a few wickets, Williamson joined Bairstow. The former SRH captain had to miss out his previous two matches, one because of injury and the second in the name of “balance”.

Williamson, right from the ball one, began to score and eased the pressure on Bairstow. They added a brilliant fifty-plus partnership with Bairstow scoring 53. After his dismissal, debutant Samad joined Williamson.

Williamson ended scoring 41 from 26 deliveries and took the team to 162. Rabada was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 21.

In return, DC lost Shaw early. Dhawan and Iyer found it difficult to take on the bowlers and they had 34 from 31 and 17 from 21. SRH bowlers were too good that DC couldn’t get through and managed only 147 from their 20 overs.

Every single bowler did well to keep the run-rate ticking. The pick of the bowlers was definitely Rashid Khan who ended up with 3/14.
