Jan Brittin, Shaun Pollock, Mahela Jayawardena inducted to ICC hall of fame

England legend Jannette Brittin, South Africa’s Shaun Pollock, Sri Lanka’s Mahela Jayawardena have been added to this year’s ICC Hall of Fame.

Brittin, probably one of the greatest batters from England, has played in 27 Tests, 63 ODIs starting from 1979 to 1998.

She passed away because of cancer in 2017 at 58. She becomes the 31st England player to join the Hall of Fame.

Mahela Jayawardena has appeared in more than 600 international matches to his name. He retired from international cricket in 2015.

Shaun Pollock is certainly one of the best all-rounders of all time. He has more than 7000 runs and 800-plus wickets in his international career.
