In the wake of coronavirus pandemic in the country, a man dressed as Santa Claus distributed face mask and sanitazers to the needy.
Ashok Kurmi, dressed as Santa Claus, was spotted in the Rani Lakshmi Chowk area distributing masks to pedestrians and passengers travelling via public transport.
According to ANI, he belongs to Sion Friend Circle Foundation. Every year, he used to distribute chocolates and gifts while wearing Santa Claus costume but this time, he wanted to spread awareness about coronavirus and thus, he gave away mask and sanitizers. He also explained about the importance to everyone.
“I used to celebrate Christmas every year by distributing toys, chocolates, and gifts to underprivileged kids but this year due to the massive spread of COVID-19, I decided to sanitise bus stands, autos, and other places,” Ashok Kurmi told ANI.
