REPORTS: Ishant Sharma suffers back injury, likely to miss a few matches

Indian cricketer Ishant Sharma is likely to miss a few matches for Delhi Capitals after injuring his back during the training ahead for Delhi’s first match in the tournament.

Ishant Sharma earlier in this January injured his ankle and then recovered in time to play against New Zealand before injuring himself again.

This could be a big blow for Delhi as Sharma is the leading pace bowler for their team among the Indians. Now, the team will be looking into others options to fulfil his place.

Sharma’s injury will be tracked and will be under supervision.

Delhi will take on Punjab in their first match on Sunday.
