Indian pacer Mohammad Shami had to go through online abuse after his off-day against Pakistan.
The Indian pacer was the most expensive of all in their match against Pakistan in the Men’s T20 World Cup.
Shami went for 43 from his 3.5 overs. Pakistan ended up winning the match by ten wickets.
As a result, the pacer had to go through abuse as the Indian fans targeted him with hate messages.

Today, Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan took to social media to share a message in support of Shami.
“The kind of pressure, struggles & sacrifices a player has to go through for his country & his people is immeasurable. @MdShami11 is a star & indeed of the best bowlers in the world
Please respect your stars. This game should bring people together & not divide ’em #Shami #PAKvIND”, (sic) he wrote.
India and Pakistan met in their first match of the tournament respectively. Shaheen Afridi removed the top order and India found themselves at 31 for 3.
Kohli and Pant rescued India and took them to 151 in their 20 overs.
However, in return, the Pakistan openers played well to take the team home with ease.
