Messenger room shortcut now available on Instagram

Instagram is rolling out messenger room feature where the users will be able to create messenger rooms and directly join video calls.

Instagram announced on Twitter the integration is available on the app. This feature is available to all users on Android and iOS. Messenger Rooms was launched by Facebook last month and it’s a new video platform that supports up to 50 people at once. Also, anyone can join a video call on Messenger Rooms including those who don’t have a Facebook account.

Note that this shortcut will only work if you have the Messenger app downloaded on your phone.

Facebook will integrate Messenger Rooms to WhatsApp as well. The shortcut is already available on WhatsApp’s beta versions of Android and iOS. It will arrive on the stable version of WhatsApp soon.
