Commonwealth Games: India beat England, reaches final

In a high-octane clash, India defeated England to reach the final of the Commonwealth Games. Harmanpreet Kaur elected to bat first and it looked like a good decision as Smriti Mandhana dominated the powerplay.

The Indian vice-captain made 61 from 32 deliveries. After her dismissal, England bounced back in the game by dismissing the top order quickly.

In the end, Jemimah Rodrigues took India to 164 with her unbeaten 44. In return, Indian bowlers kept things tight and the game was equally poised until the end.

In the final over, England needed 14 runs to win and Sneh Rana defended it for the team and took the team to the final.
