India gets their second medal in this year’s Tokyo Paralympics as Nishad Kumar wins silver.
He won the medal in the men’s high jump T47 event.
He had recorded the personal best of 2.06m in the final.
During this, he also broke the Asian Record which was set by him in 2021. He cleared 2.06m in the second try.
India’s Ram Pal, on the other hand, had finished 5th with a personal best of 1.94m.
