India was fined for a slow over-rate in the 2nd T20I against England.
In accordance with Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, the team was fined the minimum amount of 20 per cent of their match fee.
Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur had accepted the offence and accepted the proposed sanction.
The umpires who levelled the charges were Ian Blackwell and Paul Baldwin, third umpire Sue Redfern and fourth umpire Tim Robinson.
India had won the second T20I and had levelled the series 1-1. The team batted first and went on to score 148 runs in their 20 overs. In return, England began well but a series of run-outs brought the visitors back into the game who had eventually won the match by 8 runs.
