Chennai Corporation has opened relief centres in different zones for the people who are in need of shelter.
The overnight rains has affected the day to day life of the people in Tamil Nadu as most of the streets are waterlogged at the moment.
According to the report released by the officials, this is the highest rainfall the state had witnessed since the 2015 floods.
As a result, the state Government is doing all the necessary measures to take care of the public.
