MS Dhoni, who turned a year older on 7th July, is likely to continue with CSK for at least one or two years, according to CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan.
Talking to the news agency IANS about Dhoni’s future with CSK, Mr. Kasi Viswanathan said, “He can continue for another one or two years with CSK. He is fully fit, trains a lot. Don’t see any reason why he should stop.”
Dhoni, who didn’t feature in any of the international games since the World Cup semi-final, had retired from international cricket on August 15th last year. However, he went on to play for his IPL franchise CSK and when he was asked if it was his last IPL outing, he said ‘Definitely not’.
He went on to play in the IPL 2021 which was postponed due to coronavirus breakout inside the bubble and will be played in the September-October window.
