India takes the lead in the five-match series as they had defeated England by 151 at the Lord’s.
India batted first and batted well on tough surfaces. The openers added 126 runs with Rohit Sharma getting out for 83.
Rahul carried on and he had support from Skipper Kohli. While Rahul made 129, Kohli had 43. While Pant and Jadeja chipped in for cameos, England pacers brought the team back. Anderson had five wickets and India ended with 364.
After losing Sibley early, England had Burns and Root adding a fine partnership. Burns made 49 while Root had 180. Bairstow also chipped in for a half-century as England made 391.
Siraj was the star with the ball, he had four wickets.
England had India in the second innings. After losing three quick wickets, Rahane and Pujara wore off the bowlers. Pujara made 45 from 206 while Rahane had 61.
After their dismissal, Shami and Bumrah joined hands.
Shami got to his maiden fifty while Bumrah had 34 as India declared at 298 for 8.
Bumrah then came back to dismissal the top order and he ended up with three wickets while Siraj once again had four.
India dismissed England for just 120 to win the match by 151.
