Bangladesh Cricket Board has recently announced that there will be hike in the salary as well as match fee for the women cricketers. The Board has also promised to increase the number of contracted players.
According to reports, the board has implemented a 20 per cent hike in the payment. There are 22 cricketers contracted in a different category. With the increase in pay, they will receive BDT 60000(A category), BDT 48000(B category), BDT 36000 (C category) and BDT 25000(D category).
When it comes to match fee, the team will be getting 300 USD for ODIs and 150 USD for T20Is. Before, they used to get 100 USD and 75 USD.
