Bigg Boss 5 Tamil Day 70 begins with Mr Kamal Haasan talking about elimination. He wonders how Bigg Boss is going to eliminate contestants as there are 12 contestants inside and only a few days remaining.
Kamal then talks to contestants about the political round. He appreciates Sanjeev’s talk during the round. He questions regarding that one vote and asks for that “black sheep”. Niroop is the one who had voted for Priyanka’s party.
He says that it was a last-minute decision and voted for Priyanka as he wanted all three parties to join hands but none of them was ready for it. Therefore, he had voted for them.
Raju then tells Kamal that he will try to change himself regarding what Kamal had told him yesterday, regarding men-women friendship.
Raju then adds that Pavni spoke to him last night regarding how she feels about Abhinay. Kamal asks about it, Pavni elaborates what had happened.
She says that even she had doubts about the way Abhinay had behaved to her. He seemed like he was over caring to her alone compared to others. Abhinay disagrees, says that he likes to take care of people and that is what he was doing and he does it for everyone. He adds that he is more close to Priyanka and that’s how he usually talks. He also adds that he is not going to change.
Pavni says that she had already said to him that she is not comfortable with the way he behaves to her. Abhinay disagrees, saying that Pavni never told that. She, however, had mentioned that the way he behaves would create doubts in people’s minds.
Kamal asks for a short film (kurum padam).
During the break, Akshara talks to Abhinay, says that he shouldn’t show love and affection to those who don’t deserve it. Priyanka tells Abhinay that he wasn’t doing anything wrong.
Pavni is nervous as she doesn’t know what they are going to show but is confident that she had never talked anything bad about her.
Short film gist-
-Ameer and Pavni conversation, where Ameer says that Abhinay is not okay with Ameer talking to Pavni. The latter says that she also has that feeling but he doesn’t have to worry about it.
-Another video where Ameer and Pavni are seen talking. Ameer says that he might leave the house tomorrow therefore he wants to say these— He doubts the way Abhinay behaves with her. He also thinks that Abhinay loves her. Pavni asks for more clarity. He says that Ameer had doubts while watching him talk during the school task and a few other rounds.
Pavni adds that Abhinay used to be the person she had hated the most during the beginning of the show.
Ameer wants Pavni to talk about it to Raju and ask for clarity.
She talks to Rajy, says that she also has same doubts and has been uncomfortable for a few moments. Raju doesn’t reply anything. With that, the short film ends.
Abhinay is seen disappointed and Ameer clarifies that he had doubts about Abhinay because he had never opened up regarding the issue and had stopped Raju whenever he tried to give any explanation.
Abhinay says that it was his personal and didn’t want to make a big issue of it at that time.
Pavni says that she had told everything to Abhinay directly, as bits and pieces.
Abinay says that he misunderstood when Pavni had told that she dislikes him, days ago. He thought it was for fun. Kamal says that at times, people tell truth this way.
Kamal then scolds both Pavni and Abhinay for not solving the issue by themselves. He adds that Pavni should’ve told about all these directly to his face rather than talking behind.
She says that she had already told him a few times to behave normally to her.
Thamarai and Priyanka try to talk about this incident. Kamal says that nobody has the right to judge anyone here and it is certainly their personal. Also, he scolds Abhinay and Pavni for not solving it personally.
Priyanka then talks to Pavni, says that she should’ve talked about everything to Abhinay properly rather than trying to talk to Raju and making an issue about it. Akshara and Thamarai console Abhinay.
We then see the nomination, There are three boxes in front of the contestants and Thamarai is the one who is saved. Akshara is saved next, followed by Abhinay.
Ameer, Niroop and Imman are left in the end.
Imman is the one who is eliminated for the week. Everyone is stunned by the same. Imman says that he had fun for the season. Raju is crying uncontrollably.
Priyanka seeks his blessing and apologizes. Imman then leaves the house.
Priyanka consoles Raju. We then see Ameer asks sorry to Abhinay for the way he had thought. Abhinay says that it is okay and he spoke to Pavni because she was alone in the house as all her friends had left the house. He didn’t want her to feel lonely and just wanted to make her happy. That is why he had spoken to her.
Thamarai is stunned by Imman’s elimination, says that the house will be very calm from now on.
Kamal says that most of the people would be shocked by his elimination and that is itself a win for him. We see a short film for Imman.
He then talks to all contestants. Kamal wishes him all the best and says that they certainly will do a film together soon.
