Bigg Boss 5 Tamil Day 71 begins with a continuation of last night conversation.
Abhinay requests Ameer not to talk about the topic from now on.
Abhinay asks whether Pavni was the one who wanted to use this topic in the news task, Akshara says yes and she was there. Ameer is confident that Pavni wouldn’t have done it and wants to ask Raju about it. Abhinay says that he is very confused now as there is so much contradiction.
Priyanka talks to Abhinay first and then to Pavni, asking them to handle the situation maturely but talking it out.
Pavni and Abhinay try to talk- Pavni starts from day one of their friendship.
-She didn’t like the way he behaved with her and was uncomfortable
-She didn’t tell Raju to show their relationship on News and felt discomfort because of the same as Pavni never really liked Abhinay.
-Abhinay had told Abhishek that she is the one who is trying to get closer to him.
Abhinay tells that Pavni said he didn’t like him in a different tone than this and therefore he thought it was for fun.
He told Abhishek that they like talking to each other, not the other way around as Pavni mentioned.
He questions her whether he had crossed the line any day in order to make her feel this way.
Pavni says that it is all out there, she can feel that Abhinay is onto her, everybody could see it too.
Abhinay tries to talk but Pavni leaves the place.
The conversation continues in the bedroom where Pavni and Abhinay shout at each other. Priyanka tries to stop it but they both scold Priyanka for making them talk to each other.
Pavni says that Abhinay is playing a mastermind game right from day one. Abhinay then says that he is ready to take the blame for everything and is ready to allow Pavni to be the bigger person. Pavni finishes off the conversation by telling that one can wake a sleeping person but not the one who is acting like that.
Bigg Boss asks everyone to write the name of one contestant they want to nominate this week. However, Bigg Boss says that since they are getting closer to the finish line, it is time for everyone to buckle up, therefore, he nominates everyone. There will be difficult tasks from now on and whoever wins the task will save themselves from nomination.
Bigg Boss announces the task for the day. There is a podium with 1st to 11 ranks in that. Every contestant must talk about their positives and rank themselves. In the end, all ten ranks should be filled.
-Ciby stands at the 1st rank podium, says that he had played the game very well right from the start and thinks that he deserves this place.
-Niroop disagrees, says that he is the best here and talks about his positives. Ciby points out his behaviour during the politics round where he had voted for Priyanka. He says that it was not good behaviour and what’s worse is that he wasn’t ready to accept it in front of everyone. Niroop argues that he did accept it before Kamal Haasan.
Varun and Sanjeev were annoyed by that behaviour too and Sanjeev asks Niroop about why he wanted to join all three parties. Niroop says that he wanted to show unity in the house but it didn’t happen. Sanjeev adds that when he wasn’t ready to accept his vote, the basic ethics itself is wrong here.
Ciby then continues to add how Niroop is always afraid of elimination, how he backstabbed his own political party, how he is not straightforward. Niroop says that in that case, Raju deserves to be at the top. Raju asks for the place but Ciby says that Raju is afraid and if he had wanted that top spot, he would’ve been here already.
Akshara says that she wants the first position and talks about how Ciby’s behaviour changes during the game and he is different if there is no game. Ciby says that it is his way.
Ameer then talks to Ciby and says that he is playing the game safe. Ciby asks him not to talk like the way he is talking to Pavni. Ameer gets angry for using Pavni’s name and Sanjeev is angry too, asking Ciby to apologize which the latter isn’t ready to do.
Niroop says that he will not stand in lower ranks as he deserves more. Akshara convinces him. Niroop also argues that Thamarai is the most deserving player here as she had grown so much in the house and she shouldn’t be standing in lower ranks. Varun gives up his place to Thamarai and Niroop stands at the end.
Ciby, who continued to stay on top, is saved from the nomination for the week.
