Day 37 of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Isaivani reminding everyone that they have to ring the bell for food, and she will be serving it as well as taking the plate out.
Bigg Boss gives a luxury budget task- ‘Neeyum bommai, Naanum bommai theriyum unmai’.
There is a circus hut in the garden area, Bigg Boss will provide dolls with contestants names on them. They have to get it ready and place it near the rack kept near the garden area.
Once the buzzer goes,
-Everyone must pick up a doll and run into the circus hut.
-They cannot pick up their own doll.
-Each contestant can pick only one doll.
-Whoever enters the hut last will not be eliminated but the doll they are holding and the name of the contestant in the doll will be eliminated.
-Later, the eliminated contestant must name the reason for their elimination, the one who backstabbed them, two contestants who had helped them during the round.
Once the buzzer goes, Raju is seen holding his own doll and thus, the round restarts.
In the first round, Thamarai is the last. She is holding Priyanka’s doll. Thus, Priyanka gets eliminated. Priyanka then advises Thamarai and Pavni on how to play the game.
Later, Priyanka says that she had a deal with Pavni and Thamarai. She also points out the disadvantage in the task where the names of the doll are in English. Thus, Thamarai didn’t know who is who and she only knew the place where she had kept the doll. However, Niroop had changed the position of the dolls, confusing Thamarai. She names Niroop as the one who had backstabbed her.
Niroop fights for calling him that. He says that he didn’t know about it and he didn’t do anything. Priyanka says to leave the issue.
In the next round, Niroop holds Akshara (who is with Varun’s doll) and doesn’t allow her to go in. However, she gets in. During the incident, Madhumitha gets hurt on the head. Akshara and Niroop fight after entering the house. Niroop was targetting Varun.
Varun gets irritated for the way Niroop had played the game and scolds him for that. Niroop asks Varun to play the same way if he wants, rather than calling names.
On the other hand, Imman Annachi and Raju are holding each other. Imman Annachi has Ciby’s doll, and therefore, Ciby gets eliminated.
Akshara tries to make a pact with everyone to take on Niroop who held her during the task.
Ciby talks about his elimination and says he has no hard feelings.
In the next round, Niroop and Varun get into a big fight. Varun is having Niroop’s doll while Niroop is holding Akshara’s.
Imman tries to console them both, but none listens. Niroop says that Varun doesn’t want Niroop to play the game, and Varun agrees. They both get annoyed and begin to use unparliamentary words. Priyanka tries to solve the fight, but it gets bigger with Niroop using certain words.
Akshara, on the other hand, explains to other contestants how Niroop held her. She says that it was a bad way to play the game.
Imman advises both, and then later, Priyanka tries to solve the issue. Ciby asks Akshara about one of the earlier rounds where she had pulled him, says that if that was right, Niroop holding her is also right.
Akshara disagrees, goes on to add that if that is the case, the game Varun played was right too. Ciby doesn’t deny but gets angry talking about the issue once again. He uses a bad word which triggers Akshara. She shouts at him for using such words to her. Ciby leaves the place, and Priyanka tries to solve the issue.
While giving reasons for elimination, Akshara picks Varun as the one who had helped her and tells that Niroop backstabbed her. Varun says that Akshara and Madhumitha had helped him while Niroop backstabbed. He adds that the argument they had there was due to the heat of the moment and they both had forgotten it now.
Raju gets eliminated next as Imman Annachi, who is holding Raju’s doll, enters the room last.
Raju explains his elimination in a funny way making everyone laugh.
Akshara and Varun talk about how the game went, and Akshara is annoyed with Varun for including Madhumitha’s name as it was Akshara who had helped him completely. Varun says that he was asked to pick two names, else he wouldn’t have said Madhumitha’s name.
Later, we see a birthday celebration for Pavni. She gets a new outfit with a message from her close friend. They cut a cake, and she also receives a video from her house.
