Day 30 of the Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Pavni and Suruthi serving bed breakfast for Niroop.
Pavni asks Niroop if anyone was searching for her coin the previous night as her personal belongings is not is the position where she had kept before she went to sleep.
Thamarai informs Akshara that Pavni had asked Niroop about the coin search at night.
Akshara, on the other hand, explains Varun what had happened in the night and how she escaped from Pavni’s place as Imman Annachi woke up.
In between, we see Varun making everyone to do Yoga. Bigg Boss ask Varun to note the time. Bigg Boss asks everyone to get ready for the day as early as possible and Varun must decide if they had dressed up within given time.
If Varun doesn’t like someone’s attire, he can make them to change again. Also, Bigg Boss informs that if Varun or anyone make any mistakes, they will have to do squats, telling sorry to Bigg Boss. While talking to Akshara, he forgets to wear mic and thus, Bigg Boss makes him to ask sorry.
Bigg Boss gives another task for contestants. The task name is cinema cinema. Contestants will have to dress up like famous film characters- Chandramukhi, Anniyan, Padaiyappa, Ghajini among others based on Bigg Boss instruction.
They must act like the character given to them once the buzzer goes on. Once their characters’ famous song comes up, (example- Chandramukhi’s ra ra song) the respective contestant must dance for the same.
During the round, Bigg Boss will call out a particular contestant name. Apart from that contestant, everyone else must stay like a statue. That particular contestant must make two other contestants to react (who are standing like statue). If they fail, there will be a punishment for the same.
Thamarai, Ciby and Isaivani dance during the round. Later, Pavni is asked to make others react. She fails.
As a result, Bigg Boss ask her to hold on the red carpet in the TV area. If anyone wants to walk in garden area, she must put that red carpet for them.
Varun and Niroop gets squat punishment for not wearing mic.
Niroop pranks Imman Annachi by saying that if someone doesn’t wear mic, Varun has to squat and ask sorry to Bigg Boss. Imman Annachi tries that out and it misfires as Varun makes Imman to squat.
Madhumitha picks up a fight with Thamarai as the latter had called her mental. The fight gets louder with time and after few minutes, Madhumitha reveals to Thamarai that it was a task given by Niroop. They laugh.
Abhinay is hurt by Imman Annachi’s words who had asked the former to stay in character. Madhumitha asks him to forget it.
Akshara reveals to Raju, what had changed her mind to work as assistant for Niroop for the week.
Niroop had told her that he had picked her because he wants to sort their problem. Since Niroop was nice to her, listened to her perspective and did not do anything to control the situation, she thought it was okay to work with him.
