Day 31 of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Abhinay serving bed breakfast to Niroop. Later, Niroop asks Priyanka to suggest some punishment for contestants for this week.
Abhinay dances next and then Akshara. Abhinay, who is dressed as Deiva Thirumagan Vikram, cries his heart out as he misses his daughter. Akshara consoles him.
Iyakki is the next to make contestants react and she makes two of them laugh, gets a star.
Suruthi is asked to make contestants react and she fails. She is asked to hold umbrella for everyone who walks in the garden area.
Madhumitha, who is dressed as 23am Pulikesi, is made to dance next. Then we see Priyanka dance as well.
Varun is the next one to make others react, he fails as well. He is asked to do everything in slow motion.
Raju is asked to dance and then later, make others react. He makes many laugh and gets applause from contestants.
Bigg Boss ends the task and asks contestants to pick two best performers of the round. Best performers- Madhumitha and Raju
Imman Annachi appreciates each and everyone separately and talks about how well they had performed during the round.
He then says that he wasn’t happy with Akshara’s Neelambari imitation. Probably, because he didn’t see her much.
Akshara is seen crying about the same. She says that she feels bad about his comments as he doesn’t realize that his words hurt.
Imman Annachi, on the other hand, talks to other contestants. He says that he was just telling what he felt.
Contestants make them talk and they sort things out.
Niroop is asked to pick the five contestants, who will be sleeping outside for the day. He picks Pavni once again. Pavni asks why and he says she was out of the character (Ghajini role for her) a couple of times. Pavni doesn’t accept the same and she points out Niroop’s acting as Anniyan as well. Niroop gets angry as she spoke about acting. He leaves the place after shouting at her.
Priyanka and others try to console Niroop while Suruthi, Madhumitha and Imman Annachi ask Pavni to wait until he returns to normal state from anger. He then later talks to Pavni and asks sorry for his temper. They sort things out.
Bigg Boss then gives contestants a task sponsored by Vasanth and Co. The contestants are split into two groups. One group will sell electronic goods to the others.
Imman Annachi and Ciby are picked as the best performers and they get special gift from Bigg Boss. All the other contestants gets gift as Diwali special.
