Day 39 of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Pavni ruling the house as per Bigg Boss order. She asks Imman Annachi not to enter the living area without her permission. Akshara walks through the area and is ready to accept the punishment. On the other hand, Imman Annachi pushes Niroop into the living area for fun and the latter doesn’t leave the space. As a result, Pavni asks him to do 40 squats.
As per rules, the contestant shouldn’t enter the living room without Pavni’s permission. However, Niroop doesn’t hear that and walks into the living room. Pavni is annoyed by that. Later, Madhumitha moves to restroom through living room and Pavni asks her to do a task later on. She also informs everyone that there will be punishment in the evening for everyone who breaks the rule.
Hearing that, Niroop keeps moving in the living area as Pavni had told there is a punishment anyway during the evening.
Pavni is once again annoyed because of Niroop’s reaction and she removes the coin from the place, asks everyone to stay wherever they are.
Priyanka and others fight with Niroop for this and the latter argues as well. Varun and Abhinay ask Pavni to give punishment then and there as that would put an end to all the drama.
Pavni asks Niroop to clean the living room and then the living room sofa. He agrees to do that.
Priyanka gets annoyed for Niroop’s act and asks what if they had done the same to him during his captaincy week. Niroop says that they could’ve but they didn’t.
The fight continues. Pavni explains why she didn’t change her assistant. (In the last episode, she was seen asking to Bigg Boss to change her assistant as Thamarai wasn’t able to do much because of her health). She says that the people in the house are not respecting the women captain/ruler. Isaivani and Madhumitha agrees.
Niroop and Pavni continues to fight and Pavni gives punishment for Niroop once again. He disagrees to do it but later does it. Later, Pavni calls Akshara for the punishment, however, she doesn’t do it as Pavni said. The latter ask her to follow her instructions but Akshara asks Pavni to tell the same to Niroop rather than talking to her. She also calls Pavni for being partial, says, she gave big task to her but not for her friends.
Then we see the final round of “neeyum bommai naanum bommai” luxury budget task. Niroop and Iyakki Berry are the two left. Iyakki Berry gets in the house first, helping out Niroop to win the contest. Bigg Boss asks Niroop to take care of the Luxury budget completely and he can have whatever he wants.
Priyanka gets possessive as Niroop had called Iyakki for help rather than Priyanka. She rants about the same to Madhumitha.
Bigg Boss announces Bigg Boss award for this season. The contestants are asked to pick other contestant, each for one following category today.
- Best Player, Best entertainer and Best dressed.
We then see eveyone get ready for the award and Bigg Boss announces Raju, Priyanka as hosts for the night.
Priyanka does red carpet interview of all contestants. Akshara sings a song as well. We later see Iyakki Berry dance performance.
