England pulled off a series win against New Zealand at Taunton on Thursday. After winning the first contest, England went down in the second, making the final T20I a series decider.
New Zealand batted first and Suzie Bates had a good start after failing in the first two contests. She made 34. This was her 250th appearance for New Zealand, most for the team. This was also her 125th T20I appearance, which is the most by any player.
After her dismissal, Satterthwaite and Devine got out too. In the end, 16-ball 25 runs from Halliday helped New Zealand to reach 144.
In return, England had lost Beaumont and Sciver cheaply. Wyatt had a good cameo of 35. After her dismissal, Knight and Jones added an important partnership.
