Australian opener Beth Mooney has moved to the top spot in the recent ICC T20I rankings. The opener has dethroned India’s Shafali Verma after a brilliant series against India.
In two matches she had batted, she made 34 and 61. On the other hand, Shafali Verma couldn’t convert her starts to big score. Her opening partner Smriti Mandhana, however, had moved a few spots to number three in the ranking. She made a half century in the final T20I.

On the other hand, Sophie Ecclestone continues to top the T20I bowlers rankings while New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine continues to rule the top spot in the all-rounder list. The significant mover in this category is Ash Gardner. The all-rounder had an excellent outing against India and had moved to number 10 spot now.
India and Australia locked horns in multi format series recently. The host Australia ended up as the winners with 11 points to India’s 5.
Australia had won the ODI series by 2-1 and the Test match ended on a draw. They came back to win the T20I series by 2-0 with 1st T20I washed off due to rain.
