Bigg Boss 5 Tamil Day 90 begins with Kamal talking us through the previous night.
Udhaiyam promotion task.
There will be two teams, One led by Thamarai and the other led by Priyanka. Thamarai’s team will be cooking village special food while Priyanka’s team will be cooking town special. Both teams will be using Udaiyam items for the same.
Thamarai team- Ciby and Niroop
Priyanka team- Sanjeev and Pavni
Raju and Ameer will be the judge for the round.
Thamarai’s team wins the round and everyone gets different food varieties as a gift.
Kamal then appreciates Ameer for his efforts during the Ticket to Finale task, talks about how he stood even during the rain with his broken leg.
Kamal then asks Ciby to give the Ticket to the Finale band to Ameer.
Ameer says that his left leg is his strong leg and that’s why he was able to stand well during the task. He adds that he will enjoy this win only when he wins the title.
Kamal asks about the New Year Resolution of contestants.
Sanjeev- Acceptance and being independent
Ciby- Shouldn’t be sensitive
Thamarai- Must think before talk
Niroop- Must “challenge” his self-doubt
Raju- He usually takes only one resolution every year. That is to go to the gym. That is his resolution this year too.
Ameer- Should laugh more
Priyanka- Must love herself more and must try to let go of things. Must learn about cinema more.
Pavni- Learns something every year. This time it will be a dance. Also, she doesn’t want to hold grudges on anything.
Kamal talks about the first task where Niroop got eliminated. Niroop explains what had happened.
-He didn’t see anyone working hard in the physical task
-He mentions how Raju had given up during one of the tasks.
-He felt like he was the only one who likes to play the game.
He mentions that Ciby and Priyanka were the contestants who had targetted him when Kamal asks about it.
Priyanka says that he didn’t want Niroop to win because he is physically strong, would win these games easily and therefore, she wanted him out.
Niroop says that everyone is more diplomatic here rather than playing their game.
Kamal talks about how Priyanka had hit her own cutout with egg to leave during the third round. Priyanka says that she didn’t want to disturb someone else’s opportunity.
Kamal mentions that Bigg Boss is about winning the game rather than winning hearts. Everyone had understood it in the wrong way.
Raju says that he wasn’t playing for others but was just answering the questions which were asked at that time.
Niroop tells that Raju had told him that he had earned people inside the house and had mentioned Priyanka, Ciby, Sanjeev names, the same contestants who participated in that egg task, the one he got eliminated by hitting his own cutout.
Priyanka says that Niroop is having issues because nobody had played the game in the way he had wanted.
Niroop adds that everyone is playing the game as a group and Pavni, Thamarai were left alone. Since they were playing alone, they got eliminated in the egg task.
Pavni says that everyone had formed a good bond with at least one contestant here and they are hesitant to fight against that particular contestant as it would spoil their friendship.
Thamarai questions Ameer why he didn’t take on Raju when Pavni and Raju had a fight, and they went out.
Ameer says that the problem was with the position they were standing. He is certain that Raju would have saved Thamarai’s eggs if he was standing nearby.
Everyone gets into a big fight and Kamal stops them, tells them that he is telling the same thing again and again- PLAY THE GAME ALONE.
The contestants continue to fight and shout at each other during the break. They talk about how everyone has their own strategy. Finally, Ameer says that they cannot argue with Niroop at all as he doesn’t understand.
Kamal then changes the topic, talks about Priyanka-Thamarai physical fight. He mentions that it was bad.
Priyanka explains what had happened-
Ameer wanted to attack Thamarai eggs.
He had asked Priyanka to save his eggs.
Sanjeev also helped him.
Thamarai got angry because of that.
Thamarai explains how Priyanka was showing faces which annoyed Thamarai.
Kamal says that fighting was one thing but Thamarai had attacked her wrongly. He also talks about how Priyanka reacted for the same. (She spits in anger). Kamal mentions that it was terribly wrong too.
Kamal advises them to control their anger- even outside- and how they must think that everything is on camera.
Priyanka says that she feels embarrassed about the incident. She spoke to Thamarai as she felt bad while seeing her face.
Kamal talks to Pavni, why she had given up very early during the egg task. Pavni says that everyone, except for Thamarai, had already planned to work as a group. Thamarai and Pavni had left alone and they were the target. Pavni also adds that she wanted to play the game alone, thought everyone would be participating rather than working as a group.
She also says that she feels like she is the easy target for Raju because of the friendships he made inside the house and how he had never seen her as a friend.
Kamal assures that Pavni is certainly is not a “weak or easy” target. Also, nobody is thinking of her like that.
Raju is saved from nomination today.
