Bigg Boss 5 Tamil Day 74 begins with the continuation of last night fight between Raju and Akshara. Akshara is annoyed, is at the restroom, Varun tries to console her. She says that Raju is rude and taking advantage only to him and he is not even increasing his voice against others. She is also angry with the way Priyanka was shouting at her.
Raju and Thamarai enters the room, tries to solve the issue. Raju explains that he was angry as she had burst his last balloon. He also adds that he usually gets angry with people if they do any wrong. Also, asks to point out situations where he had increased his voice to Akshara. Akshara asks everyone to leave and continue the task. In the end, she is eliminated for the round.
In the morning, we see Ameer talk about Pavni for fun to Priyanka. He sings a song for her as she passes by. We then see a task. Ameer, Raju, Abhinay, Thamarai are left in the round.
There are five stages in the task. -Drink full bottle of water- army crawl through a tube-fix a puzzle of Bigg Boss eye-sack run-Eat raw egg(paccha muttai)
Ameer finishes first while Raju loses the round as he couldn’t eat the raw egg. Ameer tries to flirt with Pavni once again. Akshara and Raju solves the issue. Akshara hugs Raju and cries out loud. We then see another task for Ameer, Abhinay and Thamarai. There is a sump filled with cow dung. Inside that there will be multiple coins. The contestants must get into the sump, must find coins as much as they can. The one with least coins will be eliminated. Ameer gets eliminated. Thamarai finishes first and in happiness, Thamarai, who just got out of sump filled with cow dung, hugs Niroop out of happiness. She then tries to throw the dung over others.
Akshara talks about Priyanka to Varun and how she had wanted Akshara to talk in Tamil during the fight and how she made a fuss out it. She points out that she doesn’t even follow that rules. Ameer once again flirts with Pavni. The latter wants him to shut up but laughs as well.
Ameer and Priyanka then funnily talk about how he must react when he meets Pavni’s mother. The final task sees Abhinay and Thamarai go head to head. There is a pack of cards. In that, there will be three wrongs while other cards will have a right tick mark. One contestant must keep putting cards, one for each until anyone get two wrongs. Abhinay goes till the end and gets two wrong cards in the end. As a result, Thamarai has been saved for the week.
