Day 27 of Bigg Boss 5 Tamil begins with Mr. Kamal Hassan congratulating National Award winners. He says that his friend Mr. Rajinikanth’s victory gives him pride and it’s like his own win.
We then move to the last night’s happenings inside the house.
Isaivani gets annoyed as contestants don’t listen to her. She rants to Thamarai Selvi and Chinnaponnu about the same. Isai blames Niroop for beginning to cook without her knowledge. They resolve the issue later on.
Thamarai Selvi talks to Isai and Chinnaponnu says that the other contestants make noodles and western dishes but they never give it to Thamarai or Chinnaponnu to taste. She says that she is annoyed because of that behavior.
Raju, however, gives them this time and Thamarai scolds Varun for not giving it earlier. Thamarai talks to Raju about the same and the latter asks not to this kind of game with him, says that if she needs it, she must come and get it from him just like everyone else.
Mr. Kamal talks to contestants. He appreciates Madhumitha and how she had opened up in recent days, talks about how Priyanka had changed for good in this week, appreciates boys’ togetherness in the house, and moves on to the coin issue between Thamarai and Suruthi.
Thamarai elaborates her point of view, Kamal says that it was indeed an invasion of privacy and appreciates Raju’s points during the fight.
Suruthi and Pavni then elaborate their point of view. Suruthi says that she saw that as a game right from the start. Pavni says that she used the towel as an action to reaction and she wasn’t trying to distract Thamarai.
During the break, Thamarai says that she will not talk to them as it was a betrayal. Pavni says to Isai that Thamarai had twisted the story a bit. Madhumitha, Raju, Ciby debate about the same.
Kamal talks to everyone- Thamarai, Raju, Suruthi, and Pavni. He asks Thamarai and Raju to play the game as a game, with competitiveness and they shouldn’t give it up for anyone as the audience is watching the show for the competitiveness here.
He also ask Pavni and Suruthi to get the story in line as the clipping of them planning for the coin was aired. He also appreciates Suruthi for playing it as a task but asks her to keep a few things in mind.
During the break, Varun questions Suruthi and the latter says that she doesn’t have to explain it to him as it is none of his business. Varun gets annoyed because of that and shouts at her.
Priyanka interferes and advises Suruthi and Pavni to make sure that this conversation doesn’t come up as a topic as everyone in the house has equal rights to question each other, as it had happened in public.
Mr Kamal talks about Isaivani’s leadership for the week. He asks about her experience and then talks to Madhumitha, who was the captain for the week.
Madhumitha tells that Isai did well but she must have discussed with her all the duties as she was the captain of the week.
Had she consulted her during the round, many problems would have been avoided. Kamal appreciates Madhumitha’s maturity in handling things.
He then asks other contestants about Isaivani’s leadership. Imman Annachi says that she was controlling/ dictatorship. Akshara adds that she found her rude and it was more like she was showing off her leadership role rather than being one or taking care of the contestants, which is the basic leadership quality.
Kamal advises Imman Annachi to look into what he speaks as he had passed misogynistic comments during the argument with Isaivani. Imman promises to change the same.
Kamal says that he didn’t talk about a few contestants in the house because of their lack of participation.
Bigg Boss provides a mask to everyone and asks them to pick a contestant each, who is yet to remove their mask in the house and is playing safe/ not being themselves here.
Priyanka- Iyakki Berry
As she is unable to understand Iyakki. She was different when she came in and is different now, especially, during fights.
Niroop- Akshara
Since she is trying to be socially safe and is not avoiding fights.
Suruthi- Akshara
She feels that Akshara is trying her best to talk to everyone but at times, it doesn’t feel right
Abhinay- Varun
Abhinay knows Varun outside the house too. Thus, he knows the real him. He is yet to see that inside the house.
Pavni- Raju
Since he doesn’t talk to her like he talks to others. She doesn’t understand his reactions many times.
Madhumitha- Iyakki Berry
She feels that Iyakki and her share the same characteristics. At times, Iyakki asks like someone else and is not herself.
Isaivani- Raju
He is always the same here and they haven’t seen him get annoyed for anything.
Imman Annachi- Chinnaponnu
He wants her to open up and participate more. He feels like she is playing safe.
Ciby- Iyakki
She is not talking about most of the issues that happen and at times, she forces herself to talk which doesn’t go well.
Varun- Chinnaponnu
She is not being herself and is very careful while choosing words
Iyakki- Priyanka
She feels like Priyanka is controlling her real character and is laughing around.
Chinnaponnu- Varun
He is playing the game safe.
Thamarai- Isai
Thamarai picks Abhinay first and then moves on to pick Isai. Kamal says that she shouldn’t be indecisive here.
Akshara- Isai
She picks her because she has shown a different face during the leadership task and she doesn’t know which is her real face now.
Raju- Pavni
Raju says that Pavni annoys him a lot and he had to control his anger many times. Because of that, he gives the mask to himself but Kamal asks to give it to someone else. He moves on to give it to Pavni.
Isaivani and Imman Annachi are saved for the week.
